Astrobotic Technology is a Pittsburgh-based space robotics company founded as a Carnegie Mellon University spinoff, specializing in lunar payload delivery and surface infrastructure. The company develops Peregrine (small lunar lander) and Griffin (medium-class lander with five times greater payload capacity). Astrobotic has secured over $600 million in NASA, DoD, and commercial contracts, including CLPS awards worth $79.5M for Peregrine and $322M for Griffin. Also developing LunaGrid, the first commercial lunar power service.
