About Hyper Food Robotics

Hyper Food Robotics is a Tel Aviv, Israel-based startup that transforms fast-food delivery restaurants into fully automated units. Founded in 2019 by Udi Shamai, a Pizza Hut Israel owner with 30 years in fast-food retail, the company designs, builds, and operates autonomous mobile restaurants deployed in IoT-enabled 40-foot shipping containers functioning as complete branded establishments. The technology stack includes 120 sensors and 20 AI cameras for machine vision and remote command control, automated sanitation with custom cleaning units using non-chemical ozone water systems every 40 minutes, temperature monitoring for each section, real-time production and inventory management, multi-unit cluster management algorithms, end-to-end IoT platform with cybersecurity protections, and patented robotics and food-handling mechanisms. The autonomous kitchen is capable of preparing 50 pizzas per hour without human touch, completely self-sufficient for storage, preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Key benefits include more than doubling profit margins (34% EBITDA versus 14% traditional), 10X faster scaling (launching 120 restaurants versus traditional chains' year-10 achievement), 100% hygienic food with zero human contact, zero food waste, and complete elimination of workforce shortages. Leadership includes CEO Udi Shamai, CPO Harel Shafran (former IDF Lieutenant Colonel), and COO Yariv Reches (serial entrepreneur with 25 years founding startups). Target customers include multinational fast-food chains, ghost kitchens, aggregators, and companies developing delivery operations. Future plans include expanding beyond pizza to bowl food, burgers, and ice cream.
