Infravision is an Austin, Texas-based aerial robotics company revolutionizing power line construction and maintenance with drone technology. Founded in 2018 by robotics engineer Cameron Van Der Berg and military veteran Chris Cox, the company has raised approximately $115 million including a $91 million Series B in November 2025 led by GIC (Singapore's sovereign wealth fund). The TX System is a fully integrated combination of drones, intelligent ground equipment, and stringing hardware that brings helicopter-level capabilities into daily-use truck-based fleet vehicles. Since launch, Infravision has delivered more than 40 major projects across four countries, saving utilities, contractors, and developers millions of dollars and thousands of work hours. Key customers include PG&E (largest US customer), and deployments span from Powerlink Genex in Australia to emergency response operations in California. The company's technology addresses the critical infrastructure challenge of grid modernization, with over 50,000 miles of transmission lines built annually in the US alone. Investors include Energy Impact Partners, Activate Capital, and Hitachi Ventures. Plans call for aggressive hiring to reach 150-200 employees by year end.
