Kongsberg Ferrotech develops remotely operated robotic systems for inspection, maintenance, and repair (IRM) of underwater infrastructure like pipelines, offshore wind turbines, and power cables. Their flagship product, the Nautilus robot (rated to 1500m), uniquely integrates a variety of tools for single-mobilization IRM, and they are pioneering subsea 3D printing repair technology. Backed by €12M in funding including from the NATO Innovation Fund, they recently completed initial service operations in Southeast Asia and are expanding into green energy markets through partnerships with Equinor, SINTEF, and Gassco. Founded in 2014, they are positioned within Norway’s established subsea technology ecosystem.
