Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) is a Danish manufacturer of collaborative autonomous mobile robots for industrial logistics and material handling. Founded in 2013 in Odense by Niels Jul Jacobsen, the company pioneered flexible AMR solutions that navigate dynamically without requiring infrastructure changes. MiR robots use advanced sensor technology including 3D cameras and safety laser scanners for safe operation alongside humans. Acquired by Teradyne in 2018 for $272 million, MiR maintains over 250 distribution partners across 60+ countries with more than 7,000 robots deployed globally.
