Robotec.ai is a Warsaw, Poland-based software company specializing in AI-powered simulation and digital twin technologies for autonomous systems. The company is a member of the Autoware Foundation Technical Steering Committee, the largest organization supporting open-source self-driving mobility with over 40 member organizations. Robotec.ai led a collaborative open-source effort to develop the new ROS simulation standard, now integrated into NVIDIA Isaac Sim, streamlining cross-simulator development and enabling more robust automated testing. Together with Tier IV, they contribute to AWSIM, the end-to-end simulation platform used by the Autoware Foundation for testing autonomous driving implementations. Key open-source contributions include the RGL Gazebo Plugin for GPU-based LiDAR simulation, large-scale multi-robot warehouse simulations in Open 3D Engine (O3DE), scenario-based simulation frameworks for Autoware, and RAI—a vendor-agnostic agentic framework for robotics utilizing ROS 2 tools. The company provides complex support for autonomous vehicles including ROS2-enabled scalable simulation solutions and Driver Monitoring Systems. Robotec.ai tests autonomous vehicles at the Bednary Driving City and participates in the CPSoSaware project developing fused simulation for AV scenarios.
