About SoftGripping

SoftGripping is a German specialist in soft grippers and soft gripping solutions for material handling, particularly in food processing and packaging. The company develops and produces elastic, pneumatically powered grippers enabling easy, robust, and very lightweight designs. SoftGrippers and SoftActuators are used in high-speed delta and SCARA robotics picking foodstuff from conveyors and placing them into trays, as well as collaborative applications requiring safe working environments. The plain design without joints or lubricants, combined with special silicones, allows hygienic handling of food and easy cleaning procedures. For raw fish and meat handling, grippers meet hygiene standards with FDA-approved materials and optional additional coatings. Products include the FiletGripper (developed with PERUZA) for complex protein automation handling delicate fish fillets, poultry, and irregular meat cuts; and Hygienic Grippers with food-grade screws and easy disassembly for cleaning. The SoftGripping Gorillafingers are innovative soft grippers designed for secure and gentle handling of various products with focus on hygienic design and rapid adjustment. All grippers can be cleaned with harsh detergents and are designed to meet the highest hygienic requirements.
