About Taurob

Taurob develops ATEX-certified mobile robots – including the Inspector, Operator, and Gasfinder – for autonomous inspection and data collection in hazardous industrial environments like Oil & Gas, power generation, and chemical plants. Notably, they pioneered the world’s first ATEX inspection robot in 2012 and are a key contractor in the ARGOS JIP for next-generation robotics. Taurob partners with Dietsmann for O&M services and has received funding/collaboration from TotalEnergies & NZTC; the company was acquired by Energy Robotics. Recent developments include a new heavy-duty robot for equipment interaction and focus on cloud-based fleet management.
